Book Illustrations

Here are some illustrations that I did for a book proposal. The book was going to be a coffee table book about common misconceptions that people have about medicine in general.

This was the direction that we had originally wanted to go in - just a cartoon, simple style. The authors wanted the subject matter to be approachable, so they wanted humorous cartoons to achieve that. We ended up going for a 1950's cartoon style (see below for the same concept with the different style).

This was the style direction that we ended up going in.

Boy in the Machine

This was a concept that I did for a class project. The concept was that the boy worked for a toymaker and this machine where clown shoes came out of was possessed.
